D&A are looking for a trainee Commis Chef to join the team at the Golden Boar in Freckenham near Newmarket. The venue is a traditional fresh food pub on the outskirts of Newmarket serving a mixture of traditional English meals and specials.
We are looking for a passionate chef who is looking to work in a busy creative food environment and learn to cook food from fresh daily.
The business is extremely popular with locals, regulars and destination customers.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work across all sections in the kitchen, including the lunch, dinner & function menus.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
This role comes with amazing career progression opportunities, a great negotiable salary of around £16,000 -£18,000.
