Driver Recruiter / Scheduler

D&A recruitment are currently recruiting for a Driver Recruiter / Scheduler to support management in recruiting and placing HGV drivers out to work in a busy recruitment office. You will oversee scheduling a busy plan, placing driver into clients across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex. To effectively manage a large pool of drivers, ensuring you are placing suitable HGV drivers to the relevant clients based on their skills.

As an experienced traffic planner / scheduler you will need to have:

Knowledge of transport
Knowledge of drivers hours / CPC
Good organisation skills
Good written & communication skills
Be computer literate
Proactive & forward thinking
Be able to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of the Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex + South East of the country.

Your duties will include:

Speaking with our HGV work force, planning work for them in clients based on there relevant skills
Speaking with clients, finding out current and upcoming requirements for HGV Driver supply (Holiday / Sickness / Increase workload etc)
Compliance on our HGV workforce, ensuring candidates have in date licence, CPC and Driving Licence
Right To Work checks
Referencing candidates to ensure they are suitable to place to work
