Meet the Team


Dan Davis
MD and Owner
I founded D&A Recruitment in 2012 and became the sole owner of the business in 2014. Our Head office is in Cambridge, and we have a presence throughout the UK. I pride myself in being customer focused whilst managing the business nationwide. I have a great team that support me and the business and together we make the agency that everyone wants to work with. I enjoy playing and watching football and this season we became the proud sponsors of Cambridge United Main Stand. I have acquired other business over the years and together they form the D&A Group Brand, which I am very proud of.


Jayne Neal
Finance & HR Director
I joined Dan and the team in October 2018 coming from a very blue-chip FTSE 100 background. I bring a wealth of knowledge to the business in the form of HR and compliance disciplines, which have been adopted into the day to day running of the business. Over the two and half years I have seen the business develop and grow to be well respected within the industry. Outside of the office I enjoy travelling and still try to find the time to join the ladies that lunch set!


Jordan Minet
Driving & Logistics Director
I oversee the Driving and Logistics sector of D&A Group, out of our head office in Cambridge. Striving to hit KPI’s whilst meeting our clients expectations. I also run a HGV driver temp desk from 7.5tonne to C+E with specialist drivers with Hiab Cranes, Bulk Tippers, Tankers, Walking floor and more. D&A Group supply companies predominately throughout the South East of England. We are successful in sole supplying a number of transport companies across the U.K. with monthly review meetings, weekly KPI reports and to ensure 100% compliance when placing candidates out to work.


Lewis Nash
Director
Lewis developed D&A’s IT and Banking desks from the ground up with his professional experience at its core. Prior to Starting with D&A Lewis had a 12-year Investment Management career. Starting in the back office Lewis quickly rose through the ranks to hold senior positions in performance and risk, before turning his attention to IT where he ran several successful projects at tier 1 investment managers, such as HSBC, Schroders, Aberdeen Standard and M&G.


Alex Martin
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Working at D&A is my first recruitment role, before this I was a qualified coach working In the sports industry. I have been here for 14 months now and am enjoying the fast-paced change of environment. I have learned a lot being here and am currently managing drivers and clients in my sector. Since being at D&A I have made some great friends and we are a very supporting and fun team. Outside of D&A I am an avid football fan and enjoy watching games and playing at weekends. To tell you which team I support would be detrimental to my career so I will keep that to myself. A fun fact about myself; I have a pet tortoise.


Marc Dockerill
Senior Recruitment Consultant
With a degree in Business and over 10 years' experience within retail management I have worked with people in many different stages of their careers, this has given me the skills to successfully place candidates into the perfect role. I have built a strong repour with my clients here at D&A Recruitment and work closely with them to match candidates to their business needs and requirements. I look forward to continually providing a fantastic service and build upon the strong relationships I have already made, while ensuring candidates are happy in their work. Outside of work I am a football enthusiast, watching games and playing for my local football team on a Saturday. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.


Kian Frostick
Finance Manager
I joined D&A in April 2019 to assist with back office functionality. During my time here I have progressed massively and have been studying the AAT sponsored by D&A. I deal with all accounts queries and oversee the finance function including payroll, sales & purchase ledger and credit control. I also organise our CPC courses and strive to give all of our customers an easy booking process! When I'm not playing with numbers I'm out fishing or socialising with friends and family.


Ella Mee
Finance Assistant
I started working for D&A Group at the beginning of December 2020. I have some industry knowledge within recruitment and was working on a Human Resources apprenticeship and gained my Level 2 Business Administration Diploma. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this role I thought I had more to offer within the sector, so applied for a role with D&A. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity, especially during the pandemic (COVID-19). I love my job and my colleagues are great, always working as a team to ensure we achieve the best results we can.


Lisa Addison
Payroll
I started working for D&A in the payroll department In November 2019, processing all timesheets and obtaining confirmation from our clients. I am currently developing my skills here by also processing the payroll ready for payday on Fridays. Working here is fun and can be intense but working alongside some cheeky chappies always helps! Out of work I am an avid reader with my favourite genres being YA, Crime Thrillers and Historical Fiction. I also enjoy making candles and am certified in aromatherapy.


Frankie Torpey
Recruitment Consultant
Frankie joins D&A as a consultant after a 10-year career in retail management at one of London’s most prestigious department stores. Frankie’s love for technology started with music production from a young age and has only grown with time. Curiosity at its core, Frankie isn’t satisfied with why technology works he strives to learn how! It is this curiosity that has made Frankie our go to consultant on cloud computing.
